Leilani Wong Navar
Leilani Wong Navar, MSOM, Licensed Acupuncturist & Herbalist and Certified Dreamworker, has been in practice since 2012. She supports people who desire to optimize their health or fertility, or are dealing with illness or injury, using acupuncture, tuina manual therapy, CranioSacral Therapy, and herbal medicine. Leilani is trained in both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Master Tung's styles of acupuncture, as well as Classical Chinese Herbalism and qigong. She loves to help people learn practical tools for their own health and healing, including self-massage with acupressure and qigong exercises.
Leilani also offers support in tending to the connection between emotions and physical health, where Chinese Medicine has deep wisdom to offer. As a dreamworker, Leilani invites patients to share their dreams during acupuncture sessions. Engaging with dreams can offer insights about diagnosis and treatment, and open up new possibilities for embodied healing and deeper self-understanding.
Leilani grew up in Irvine and studied naturopathic and Chinese Medicine medicine at NUNM in Portland, Oregon, where she earned a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine. She studied Fertility Awareness with Justisse College, and became a certified Holistic Reproductive Health Practitioner in 2010. Before returning to Orange County with her husband and two children in 2022, she and her family lived on a permaculture homestead in the high mountain desert of southern Utah. Outside the clinic, she loves to have fun with whatever her kids are into at the moment, make music, and spend time in the wilderness and the garden. Passionate about deep ecology, Leilani hosts Turning Season Podcast, and offers community programs that integrate Chinese Medicine and the Work that Reconnects.
